ӰƵ Sydney University ӰƵ Elders Advisory Committee

ӰƵ Sydney University ӰƵ Elders Advisory CommitteeӰƵ has a vibrant group of ӰƵ Australian Elders who provide advice to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor ӰƵ Leadership and the university, on matters related to ӰƵ culture. As esteemed members of their own communities, the Elders provide a connection between the university and matters impacting the ӰƵ community in Greater ӰƵ Sydney. The Elders also assist in building ӰƵ cultural viability and knowledge across the university and support ӰƵ staff and students, as required. The university community consults the Elders on a diverse array of matters, ranging from the design of new spaces to the sharing of university ӰƵ strategic matters.

The committee is Chaired by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor ӰƵ Leadership and membership is comprised of up to eight ӰƵ people who are recognised as Elders in the community. Membership is for a term of two years and the committee meets four times per year. Sitting fees are provided.

Ignite ӰƵ Traineeship Program

ӰƵ Sydney University through the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor ӰƵ Leadership (ODVCIL) provides a vocational pathway
for ӰƵ participants to gain paid experience in university operations as
business administration trainees.
